These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile app, and services, including user-generated meetups with condition-based notifications (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Positive Group LLC. These Terms apply to all interactions with our website and app, ensuring a consistent user agreement across all access points. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Image Upload Policy, Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information Policy, Notice of Collection, Consumer Privacy Policy, and About Us page.
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for violations such as harassment, fraud, or illegal activities, which may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of refunds. Please read these Terms carefully.

- Certify during registration that you are not a convicted sex offender. We do not conduct background checks to verify this status, and you are responsible for ensuring compliance. Report suspicious accounts via https://meetpositives.com/support.
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information (e.g., name, email, STD status if shared).
- Verify your email address within 7 days to activate your account. Optional phone or photo verification enhances profile credibility. Unverified accounts may be restricted, per Section 6.
- Maintain account security by keeping your password confidential and notifying us of unauthorized access at support@meetpositives.com.
You may not:
- Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or bans.
- Transfer or share your account without our prior written consent.
- Use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.
Zero Tolerance: Creating fake accounts, misrepresenting eligibility, failing to verify your email, or engaging in unauthorized access will result in immediate account termination.
2. User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, Image Upload Policy, and these Terms. You are responsible for all content you post (e.g., profiles, messages, photos, forum posts, “Member Content”) and your conduct on external platforms or at meetups, including user-generated meetups, impacting MeetPositives.com.
Permitted Use:
- Engage respectfully, fostering a stigma-free community.
- Upload accurate, appropriate content aligned with our mission.
- Create or attend user-generated meetups in a lawful, respectful manner, adhering to safety guidelines at https://meetpositives.com/safety. Meetups may target users with specific conditions (e.g., STD status), and notifications will be sent to matching users in the area with your consent.
- Report violations (e.g., suspected sex offenders, fake accounts, unsafe meetup behavior) via https://meetpositives.com/support or the in-app 3-dot “Report Profile” feature. See https://meetpositives.com/safety for tips.
- Contact https://meetpositives.com/support before posting public reviews.
Prohibited Conduct:
- Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech based on race, gender, STD status, or other characteristics, on the Platform, at meetups, or in external channels.
- Posting explicit, illegal, or non-consensual content.
- Engaging in fraud, scams, impersonation, malicious code uploads, or using unlabeled bot-simulated accounts. Platform bots (e.g., customer support) are transparently labeled.
- Using the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes, including soliciting at meetups.
- Circumventing security features or accessing others’ data.
- Posting false, defamatory, or misleading reviews about MeetPositives.com, per the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA).
- Engaging in unsafe or unlawful behavior at user-generated meetups (e.g., harassment, violence).
Reportable Violations:

Community Guideline Violations:
- Hidden contact information (e.g., bypassing Platform communication).
- Inappropriate profile content or messages (e.g., offensive, explicit).
- Fraudulent intentions or scams (e.g., phishing, spam).
- Minor or underage (e.g., accounts under 18).
Illegal Content:
- Harassment (e.g., insults, targeted abuse).
- Racism (e.g., discriminatory content).
- Hate speech or bullying (e.g., slurs, derogatory remarks).
- Threats of violence (e.g., threatening messages).
- Physical violence (e.g., promoting or enacting violence).
Meetup Violations:
- Unsafe or inappropriate behavior at user-generated meetups (e.g., harassment, soliciting).
Public Reviews Policy:
Honest reviews are protected under the CRFA. Contact support@meetpositives.com before posting reviews. False or defamatory reviews may lead to suspension, termination, or legal action, per Section 6.
Zero Tolerance: Violations like harassment, fraud, illegal content, or unsafe meetup conduct result in immediate termination and potential reporting to authorities.
3. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds
MeetPositives.com offers free and premium subscription plans, including enhanced search filters and meetup features. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms. Contact https://meetpositives.com/support for billing inquiries.
Billing:
- Fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly, annually), as specified during signup.
- Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
- Fees are in US dollars, including applicable taxes.
Automatic Renewal:
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled 24 hours before the renewal date via account settings or support@meetpositives.com.
- A confirmation email outlines renewal terms, cancellation, and billing details.
Cancellation:
- Cancel anytime via account settings or support@meetpositives.com.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, with access to premium features until then.
- No refunds for unused portions, except as below.
Refund Policy:
- General Rule: No refunds for partially used periods, dissatisfaction (e.g., lack of matches), or voluntary deletion, except where required by law.
- Termination for Violations: No refunds or credits for accounts terminated due to violations of these Terms or Community Guidelines, including at meetups.
- California Cooling-Off Period: California residents may cancel within 3 days of purchase for a full refund if no significant premium features (e.g., messaging, search filters, meetup access) are used, per California Civil Code § 1789.3. Submit requests via https://meetpositives.com/support.
- Billing Errors: Contact support@meetpositives.com within 30 days for review. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
- Non-Delivery: Request pro-rated refunds for unavailable premium features due to technical issues within 30 days via https://meetpositives.com/support.
- Referral/Affiliate Rewards: Non-monetary rewards (e.g., discounts) are non-refunded unless the subscription qualifies for a refund.
- Process: Requests require email, user ID, transaction date, and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method or an alternative (e.g., account credit).
Chargebacks:
- False or fraudulent chargebacks are prohibited and may result in termination, blacklisting, and legal action.

Zero Tolerance: Fraudulent payment disputes result in immediate termination.
4. Intellectual Property
Our Content: Platform design, logos, trademarks, and content (excluding Member Content) are owned by Positive Group LLC, protected by US copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce or modify without permission.
Member Content: By uploading Member Content, you grant a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and store it, per our Image Upload Policy. You retain ownership but must ensure no third-party rights are infringed.
Infringement: Do not upload content you don’t own. Report violations at https://meetpositives.com/support, per our Image Upload Policy and DMCA.
Zero Tolerance: Uploading infringing content results in removal and termination.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy, especially for STD-related data, is critical. Our Privacy Policy, Notice of Collection, Consumer Privacy Policy, and Do Not Sell or Share Policy detail data practices.
Data Practices: We use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google AdWords, conversion tracking, and referral/affiliate systems for analytics and promotions. Sensitive data (e.g., STD status for meetup notifications) is not used for marketing without explicit consent.
User Rights: Under CCPA/CPRA, you can:
- Access, delete, or correct your data.
- Opt out of data sharing or limit sensitive data use (e.g., for meetup notifications).

6. Termination and Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account for:
- Violating these Terms, Community Guidelines, or policies, including conduct in Section 2.
- Harming the Platform or users (e.g., fraud, harassment, sex offender status, unsafe meetup behavior).
- Legal or regulatory requirements.
- Dormant or unverified account status.
Consequences:
- Severe Violations: (e.g., harassment, fraud, illegal content, unlabeled bots, false reviews, unsafe meetup conduct): Immediate termination, content removal, and potential legal action. No refunds, per Section 3.
- Minor Violations: (e.g., inappropriate content): Warnings or suspension.
- Dormant Accounts: Hidden after 12 months of inactivity, deleted after a 30-day notice. Reactivate via login or support@meetpositives.com.
- Unverified Accounts: Email verification required within 7 days; restrictions after 30 days. Fraudulent accounts may be terminated.
Proactive Moderation: Backend scripts flag suspicious patterns, including meetup-related issues, for review.
Appeals: Appeal within 14 days via https://meetpositives.com/support.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- General Disclaimer: The Platform is for informational and connection purposes. We do not guarantee profile accuracy or authenticity. Report suspicious profiles via https://meetpositives.com/support or the 3-dot “Report Profile” feature.
- Relaunch Notice: Some profiles may be outdated due to an existing database. Report concerns at https://meetpositives.com/support.
- Meetup Disclaimer: We are not liable for disputes, harm, or losses from user-generated meetups, including those facilitated by condition-based notifications. Follow safety guidelines at https://meetpositives.com/safety.
- As-Is Service: Provided “as is” without warranties.
- User Interactions: We do not conduct background checks. Exercise caution and follow safety tips at https://meetpositives.com/safety. We are not liable for interaction-related disputes.
- No Medical Advice: Consult professionals for STD guidance.
- Liability Cap: Limited to amounts paid in the prior 12 months. No liability for indirect damages.
8. Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: Florida law applies.
- Arbitration: Disputes, including meetup-related issues, are resolved in Fort Myers, Florida, per American Arbitration Association rules, individually, not as class actions.

- Exceptions: We may seek injunctive relief in court.
9. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe, PayPal, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google AdWords, and affiliate platforms, governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their performance.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Positive Group LLC from claims arising from your use, Member Content, or violations, including harassment, fraud, false reviews, or unsafe conduct at meetups.
11. Severability and Entire Agreement
- Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect others.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, with linked policies, are the full agreement.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failures due to events beyond our control (e.g., cyberattacks).

14. Modifications to the Terms
Material changes are communicated 30 days in advance via email, in-app, or posting. Relaunch users must accept updated Terms and Community Guidelines on first login. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
